Mr. Donald Eugene Conwell, age 84 of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, July 19, 2015. He was born on September 6, 1930 in Eatonton, Georgia. He was the son of the late Grover Conwell and Lilly Mae Stancil Conwell.

Mr. Conwell was a United States Navy Veteran and retired from Lockheed.

Mr. Conwell is survived by his wife, Betty Jo Spann Conwell; daughters, Cathy Puckett and Rebecca Raico; and son, Donald E. Conwell Jr. Several grandchildren also survive.

Mr. Conwell is preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters.

A memorial service for Mr. Conwell will be conducted on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home, with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

Flowers are not being accepted; however, memorial donations can be made to the First Baptist Church of Cedartown's Memorial Fund.
