Mr. Donald Edward Ayers, age 65, of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2010. He was born May 12, 1943 in Cedartown, the son of Hershel Wayne Ayers and Willie Jo Reddish Ayers (both deceased).

He is also preceded in death by son, Wayne Ayers; sister, Shirley Phillips; brothers, Eugene Talmadge Ayers and Burl Hershel Ayers.

Mr. Ayers is survived by daughters, Donna Marie Ayers Augello, Brenda Gail Ayers, and Shirley N. Ayers. Six Grandchildren and six great-grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Mr. Donald Edward Ayers will be held on Tuesday May 4, 2010 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Kevin Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in Buchanan City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 3, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.
