Mr. David Jerry Patterson, age 52, of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2014. He was born on March 13, 1962, in Cedartown.

Mr. Patterson is survived by his father, Coye E. Patterson; his loving wife, Sherry Guice Patterson; daughter and son-in-law, Chandra and Justin Dawson; daughter-in-law, Heather Knowles Robinson; sister, Renee Garner; brothers, Ken Patterson and Eddie Patterson; eight grandchildren, Kaylan Sanford, Reese Johnson, Lakon Robinson, Bryant Robinson, Preslie Dawson, Lauren Robinson, Madison Dawson and Kylah Dawson and several nieces and nephews.

Mr. Patterson is preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Haynes Patterson; son, Michael Robinson and brother, Butch Patterson.

In keeping with Mr. Patterson's wishes' he was cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later time.

The family of Mr. Patterson will receive family and friends on Thursday, December 4, 2014 from five o'clock in the evening until six o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has omitted flowers.
