Mr. David Edward Hammond, age 50, passed away on Wednesday, November 21, 2007. He was born on October 21, 1957 in Fort Smith, Arkansas, the son of John Kenneth and Mildred M. Hammond.
Mr. David Hammond was a member of the Dugdown Baptist Church and an employee of Hon Industries. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John K. Hammond and sisters, Brenda Stubbs and Jonia Pelanek.
Mr. David Edward Hammond is survived by wife, Debbie Lynn Hammond; daughter, Misty Darlene Weaver; son, Jason Daryl Stargell; sisters, Jeri Hammond, Sharon Baldwin, and Tammy Horne; brothers, Kenny Hammond and Jeff Hammond; grandchildren, Drew Phillips, Audrey Rian Stargell, Will Stargell, and Mason Siniard. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
The funeral service for Mr. David Edward Hammond will be conducted on Saturday, November 24 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Frank Parris and Rev. Jason Hudgins officiating.
Interment will follow in Polk Memory Gardens with full military rites being conducted at the Brewster-Cleveland American Post #86 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 23, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
Pallbearers are Jerry Rudeseal, Max Cook, Richard Brannon, Don Woods, Greg Carter, and Curtis Anderson.
Honorary Pallbearers are the Male Members of Dugdown Baptist Church.
The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. David Edward Hammond.
