Mr. Dariel Frank Carter, age 80 of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, December 13, 2013. He was born on July 22, 1933 in Chattooga, County, Georgia. He was the son of the late Mr. William D. Carter and Mrs. Mary Lee Carter.
Mr. Carter is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Carol Tillery and Ronnie; sons, Dariel Carter and Danny Carter; special friend, Raymonde Carter; nephews, Barry Carter and Marty Carter; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Mr. Carter is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Eloise Sexton and brother, Edward L. Carter.
A graveside service for Mr. Carter will be conducted on Monday, December 16, 2013 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the Northview Cemetery with Rev. James Wright officiating. Full military rites will be conducted by the Brewster-Cleveland American Legion Honor Guard Post 86.
The family of Mr. Carter will receive family and friends on Monday, December 16, 2013 from 12:00 pm (noon) till 1:45 pm at the Gammage Funeral Home.
