Reverend Danny Eugene Watters, age 66 of Douglasville, passed away, April 30, 2015. He was born September 7, 1948 in Cedartown, GA. He served on staff with the Georgia Baptist Convention as Specialist of Church Minister Relations. He served as pastor of several churches in the area, Providence Baptist Church of Tallapoosa, Ga., Spring Place Baptist Church of Chatsworth and Beulah Baptist Church of Douglasville.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Becky Watters; children and their spouses: Chad Watters and wife, Kim , Scarlett Rackley and husband, Tim, Shonna' Privette and husband, Kyle; grandchildren: Brianna Rackley, Watters Rackley and Whitner Privette; brothers: Daryl Watters and wife, Robyn, Eddie Watters and wife, Pam; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Frank E. Watters, mother, Ellen Brown Watters; brother: Ronnie Watters and sister-in-law: Judy Watters.

Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Beulah Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Monday, May 4, 2015 from 2-4 PM, followed by 5-9 PM at Beulah Baptist Church.
