Mr. Daniel Felton "Easy" Lawson, age 62 of Rome, Georgia, passed away on Monday, December 15, 2014. He was born on February 7, 1952 in Atlanta, Georgia. He was the son of the late Joseph W. Lawson, Sr. and Susan Maxine Turner Lawson.

Mr. Lawson is a veteran of the United States Army. "Easy" was a patch holder of the USMVMC Georgia 05 Chapter. He was also an animal lover and nature lover and a motorcycle enthusiast.

Mr. Lawson is survived by his son, Danny W. Lawson; partner, Freda Landers Holt and sisters and brother-in-laws, Brenda S. Murfitt and Joe and Tami L. King and Andy.

Mr. Lawson is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Joseph W. Lawson, Jr.

In keeping with Mr. Lawson's wishes he was cremated. A memorial service will be held Saturday January 24, 2015 at 2pm, at VFW Post 5408, located at 4764 Highway 41 Acworth, Georgia, 30101.
