Mr. Curtis David Gleason, age 85 of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014. He was born on January 31, 1929 in Detroit, Michigan. He was the son of the late David Earl and Ethel Mae (Whiter) Gleason.

Mr. Gleason is survived by his daughters, Kimette Louise Cannady and Dawn Marie Haase; son, William David Gleason, Sr. ; grandchildren, John, William David Gleason, Jr., Matthew, Katie, Mark, Sarah, Noel and Gail, and great-grandchildren, James, Kaitlyn and C.J.

Mr. Gleason is preceded in death by his parents; two wives, Ruth Marie (Steers) Northrup and Gladys Frances Smith Gleason; son, John Cecil Gleason; sister, Cammille (Davis) Strem and brother, Alfred Davis; and grandson, Ray Lawerence II.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Gleason will be conducted on Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:30 am in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Hanson officiating. Interment will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Gleason will receive family and friends on Thursday, February 27, 2014 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following men will serve as pallbearers; William David Gleason, Sr., William David Gleason, Jr., Cody Hanson, and Gary Turner.
