Mrs. Corene Croker Hatch, age 87 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2017. She was born on June 6, 1929 in Sand Mountain, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late James P. and Alice Rice Croker.

Mrs. Hatch is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Keith Shelley, Greg and Janice Shelley, Kenneth and Sandi Shelley, and Jerry and Drehlaine Hatch; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Hatch is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert Hatch and brother, James "Billy" Croker.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Hatch will be conducted on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Second Baptist Church with Dr. Bill Heaton and Rev. Brian Crisp officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the funeral hour at the church. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery with Rev. Grady McDonald officiating.

The family of Mrs. Hatch will receive family and friends on Friday, April 7, 2017 from five o'clock in the afternoon until seven o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Brian Knott, Jon Cox, Colby Lackey, Stephen Parker, Sam Shelley, JoJo Dooley, and Jake Dooley.

The family has requested that flowers be omitted and donations be made to the Second Baptist Church Building Fund, 152 Evergreen Lane, Cedartown, GA 30125.
