Mrs. Cora Medlin, age 71, of Cedartown, GA, passed away Monday, December 26, 2011. She was born in Cary, NC on January 12, 1940 and was a graduate of Cary High School. She was a retired real estate agent and broker and a member of The Cedartown First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Medlin is preceded in death by husband, William Barney Medlin and parents, Holland Nance and Rachael Kirk Lane.

She is survived by children and their spouses, Beth and Terry Jones, Joe Medlin, Kim and Shad Chambers, Wesley and Cheryl Medlin, and Tracy Jackson. Also surviving are grandchildren, Nikki Jones, Nadine Jones, Chris Medlin, Caitlyn Medlin, Matthew Medlin, Sarah Medlin, Gunner Chambers, Major Chambers, Kannon Chambers, Hunter Jackson, Morgan Jackson; boyfriend, Fred Levy.

In keeping with Mrs. Cora Medlin's wishes, she was cremated. A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of The First Baptist Church, 101 N. College St., Cedartown 30125.

The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.

The interment will be in Polk Memory Gardens.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mrs. Cora Medlin.
