Mrs. Connie Marie Henson Dyer, age 77 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2023.  She was born on June 26, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Riley and Maurine Simpson Henson.

Mrs. Dyer is survived by her daughters, Tonya Cummings (Steven), Kayla Dyer (Danny Simpson), Kelsey Correll (Chris) and Patricia Galapon (Derrick); sons, Charles Dyer, Jr., Tim Dyer (Karen), and Timothy Stroup; sister, Deborah Winters; brother, Junior Henson; grandchildren, Tiffany Stroup, Jesse Stroup, CC Dyer, Chaz Dyer, Colby Dyer, Blake Dyer, Jared Davis, Trevor Meredith, and Stephanie Meredith; and great-grandchildren, Blaze Simpson, Reece Simpson, Haizleigh Simpson, Octavia Dyer, Jerrica Preston, Garrett Correll and Kyson Preston.

Mrs. Dyer is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles Edward Dyer, Sr.; daughter, Billie Meredith; and brothers, Gerry Henson, Randy Henson, Danny Henson, James Spivey, Ralph Henson and Otis Henson.

The funeral service for Mrs. Dyer will be held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at two o'clock in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Pilgrim and Rev. Josh Tucker officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Dyer will receive family and friends on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
