Mr. Clinton P. "Bodidy" Tanner, age 82 of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday January 7, 2018. He was born on May 20, 1935 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late George Dewey Tanner and Pauline Mills Tanner.

Mr. Tanner was employed by Georgia Power as a truck operator for forty years.

Mr. Tanner is survived by his wife, Linda Tanner; daughter, Lynn Tanner Gore; son and daughter-in-law, George and Carla Tanner; grandchildren Elizabeth Faith Anderson (Stephen) and Clint Tanner and great granddaughter Kinley Faith Anderson.

Mr. Tanner is preceded in death by his parents; brother Dewey Junior Tanner; sister Betty Tanner Scholls and son-in-law Sam Gore.

In keeping with his wishes, his body was cremated. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
