Mr. Clinton Atkins, age 79, of McDonough, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017. He was born on July 29, 1937 in Newnan, Georgia. He was the son of the late Boody and Beulale Lee McDowell Atkins.

Mr. Atkins is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Lee and Connie Atkins; brother, Freeman Atkins and grandchildren, Macy Weyenberg (Mike) and Weston Atkins.

Mr. Atkins is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Joyce Faye Whitehead Atkins.

In keeping with Mr. Atkins's wishes he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Clinton Atkins will be conducted on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Dr. Bobby Atkins officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Atkins will receive family and friends on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the memorial service hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to Truth Tabernacle of Praise, 5705 Memorial Drive, Stone Mountain, Georgia 30083.
