Mrs. Clessie Hopkins Durham, age 90, of Macon, GA passed away December 27, 2004. She was born November 22, 1914 to parents Euborn and Josie Hopkins.

She was retired from the J.C. Penny Co. in Cedartown, GA. She was a member of Vineville Baptist Church in Macon and she was a former member of the First Baptist Church in Cedartown.

Mrs. Durham is predeceased by her husband, Woodrow Durham, father, Euborn A. Hopkins, mother, Josie McMichen Hopkins, two sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Clessie Hopkins Durham is survived by her children, Carolyn Durham and Cathy D. Riley, of Macon, GA, Robert Elgin (Faye) Durham of Tignall, GA and Jerry W. Durham of Roberta, GA, her grandchildren Robert (Marsha) Durham of Elberton GA, Jimmy (Amy) Durham of Panama City Beach, Fla., Pamela (Bill) Hopkins of Macon GA, Rob and Lucy Riley of Macon, GA, and Bob and Patricia Durham of Roberta, GA. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren and her sister Irene H. Couch of Hiram, GA.

The family will receive friends at Gammage Funeral Home Wednesday, December 29th at 12:30 in the afternoon. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:30 with Rev. Bill Hopkins of Macon, GA and Rev. Ron Holland officiating.

Pallbearers are Robert Durham of Elberton, GA, Jimmy Durham of Panama City Beach, Fla., Bobby Durham of Roberta, GA, Rob Riley of Macon, GA, Dustin Durham of Flowery Branch, GA, Caleb Hopkins of Statesboro, GA.
