Ms. Clarice Elizabeth Adams Long, age 93, of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015. She was born on March 15, 1922. She was the daughter of the late Alden Adams and Nellie Adams.

Ms. Long is survived by her daughter, Lois Smith; son, Stephen Long; three grandchildren, Brian Smith, Ryan Smith and Kellie Long Mullinax; five great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Ms. Long is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.W. Long and eleven brothers and sisters.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Long will be conducted on Thursday, January 15, 2015 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of The First Baptist Church with Dr. David Taylor and Rev. Chris Hearne officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Knoll Cemetery in Rome, Georgia.

The family of Ms. Long will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 15, 2015 from 1:30pm until the funeral hour at The First Baptist Church.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted; however, memorial donations can be made to Heyman Hospice Care of Floyd, 420 E. Second Avenue, Rome, GA 30161 or First Baptist Church Music Program, 101 N. College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Brian Smith, Ryan Smith, Gary Mull, Todd Brown, Denny Cuzzourt and Terry Burns.
