Mrs. Clara Williams Sutton, age 71 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2016. She was born on December 18, 1944 in Bridgeport, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late James Elzie and Mary Magaline Matney Williams.
Mrs. Sutton is survived by her husband of 54 years, William Milton Sutton; daughters and son-in-law, Jackie A. Fincher, Melissa and Todd Allen and Sandra Marlene Craig; sons and daughter-in-law, Wally and Tammy Sutton and David Bergeron Sutton; sisters, Helen Louis McGuire and Unie Irene Dodd; brothers, Leon Williams and Ray Williams; 13 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Sutton is preceded in death by her parents; son, James Milton Sutton; sister, Joan Marie Pruett and brother, J.W. James.
The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Clara Williams Sutton will be conducted on Saturday, February 27, 2016 at twelve o'clock (noon) in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Benning and Rev. Josh Nichols officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery with Mr. Carl Bergeron officiating.
The family of Mrs. Sutton will receive family and friends on Friday, February 26, 2016 from five o'clock in the evening until seven o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Thomas Bergeron, Nathan Bergeron, Charles Bergeron, Keith Dostart, Victor Dostart and Christopher Fincher. Honorary pallbearers will be Candice Norrell, Zane Adams, Anthony Dollar and Don Keever.
The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and memorial donations can be made to the Sutton Family, 153 Judkin Mill Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.
