Obituary

Ms. Clara Bell Fortune Corn, age 89 of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, May 28, 2015. She was born on November 3, 1925 in Piedmont, Alabama. She was the daughter of the late Samuel Richard and Elsie Fortune.

Ms. Corn is survived by her children, Charles and Sandra Corn, Faye and Don Westmoreland, Susie and Margarito Sanchez, Richard and Shonna Corn, Lisa Corn Weaver, Goldie and David Baldwin, Evelyn and Scott Smith and David and Sandra Corn; sister, Mary Johnson; 23 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; several great-great- grandchildren and a numerous amount of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Corn is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Walter Lee Corn; son, Ray Corn; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Ronald Dempsey; brothers, Roy and Troy; sisters, Elsie, Annie, Plumer, Grace and Lilly Mae; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Clara B. Corn will be conducted on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Robert Boatner officiating. Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens Cemetery.

The family of Ms. Corn will receive family and friends on Saturday, May 30, 2015 from eleven o'clock in the morning until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Ms. Corn's grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
