Mr. Chris Tanner, age 25 of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on. Saturday, August 31, 2019. He was born on January 20, 1994 in Rome, Georgia. He was the son of Stacie Carter Hulsey and Ritchie Wayne Tanner.

Mr. Tanner is survived by his parents; fiancée, Sabrina Lynn Tanner; son, Brayden Wayne Tanner; sisters, Caitlin Elese Hulsey, Sydney Ryan Tanner and Aubrey Grace Tanner; grandparents, Elmo and Alice Carter; and several other extended family members also survive.

Mr. Tanner is preceded in death by his grandparents, Wayne and Joyce Tanner, and great grand-parents, W.E. and Alma Smith.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Christopher Wayne Tanner will be held on Saturday, September 7, 2019 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Doyle Kelley officiating.  Interment will follow in the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery, Piedmont Alabama.

The family of Mr. Tanner will receive family and friends on Friday, September 6, 2019, from four o'clock in the afternoon until eight o'clock in the evening at Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Van Carter, John Carter, Jamie Westmoreland, Britt Morgan, Jeremy Beecham, and Taylor Truett.  Honorary Pallbearers are: Bunk Davis, Jake Spann, Dawson Timms, Wesley Beecham, and Employees of Carter Construction.
