Mr. Charles Franklin Wells, Sr., age 60 of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2016. He was born on June 13, 1956 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Paul and Thelma Louise Crawford Wells.
Mr. Wells is survived by his wife, Jill Hayth Wells; daughter, Tammy Wells Hinkle (Don Newton); brother, Randy Paul Wells (Mandi); grandchildren, Madison Hinkle, Emerald Hinkle and Kaitlyn Bunner (Draven, Hunter and Johnny Newton); nephews, Josh and Levi Wells great-nephews, Kenneth Dylan Tippens and Kendal Casey Tippens.
Mr. Wells is preceded in death by his parents; son, Charles Franklin Wells, Jr. (C.J) and sisters, Janet Arvin and Judy Tippens.
In keeping with Mr. Wells' wishes' he was cremated. A memorial service for Mr. Wells will be conducted on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at one o'clock in the afternoon at the Anna Kresge United Methodist Church with Rev. Allen Carmichael officiating.
The family has requested no flowers; however, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105; Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 4138, Fullerton, CA 92834 or Anna Kresge United Methodist Church memorial fund, 15 Booger Hollow Road, Cedartown, GA 30125.
