Mr. Charles E. Welchel, age 78, of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, November 23, 2015. He was born on March 13, 1937 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late James Welchel and Elizabeth Hudgins"Queenie" Welchel.

Mr. Welchel is survived by his sons, Eddie Welchel (Agnes), Ricky Welchel and Greg Welchel; 3 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Welchel is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Janice Marie Johnson Welchel; daughter, Bridget Welchel; sister, Bessie Welchel Reddish and brothers, Randol F. Welchel, Clarence Welchel, Allen Welchel, Hershel Welchel, James Welchel, Frank Welchel, Lloyd Welchel and Hoyt Welchel.

A graveside service for Mr. Charles Welchel will be conducted on Friday, November 27, 2015 at one o'clock in the afternoon at the Sanders Cemetery with Rev. Ted Porterfield and Brother Bill Welchel officiating. At other hours, the family will be receiving family and friends at 610 Irwin Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: James Timms, Dada Baldwin, Jamie Truett, Jim Welchel, Lewis Welchel and Rodney Johnson.
