Obituary

Mr. Charles Johnny "Mickey" Lane, age 73 of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, March 30, 2016. He was born on January 23, 1943 in Polk County. He was the son of the late Coy Milford Lane and Georgia Henderson Lane.

Mr. Lane is survived by his wife, Connie Diane Benefield Lane; daughters, Pamela Renee Lane, Nikki Renee Johnson and Kristie Dawn Harrell; sons, Jonathan Chad Lane and William Kevin Dial; sister, Peggy Lane Moody; brother, Scrammy Lane; 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mr. Lane is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Billy Gerald Lane and sister, Jackie Lois Lane.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Charles Johnny Lane will be conducted on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at eleven o'clock in the morning at East View Baptist Church with Rev. Reginald Campbell and Rev. Dennis Harrell officiating. The body will lie in state one hour prior to the service hour at the church. Interment will follow in the East View Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Lane will receive family and friends on Friday, April 1, 2016 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Andrew Davis, Kindell Davis, Austin Davis, Kevin Dial, Jason Harrell and Jonathan Lane. Honorary pallbearers will be: Phillip Bentley, Mike Worthington, Bo Adams, Terry Middlebrooks, Grady Teems and Donnie Anderson.
