Mr. Charles Edward McKibben, age 59, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, August 9, 2007. He was born to parents, Grady and Elizabeth Cheatwood McKibben on April 1, 1948.

Mr. McKibben is preceded in death by his parents and brothers, J. D. McKibben and Melvin McKibben.

Mr. Charles Edward McKibben is survived by sister, Beatrice Dunn, of Chattanooga, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law, Shirley and James Curtis of Peachtree City, Georgia. Local survivors include Marvin and Diane Cheatwood and Barbara McCray all of Cedartown.

Graveside service for Mr. McKibben will be conducted on Sunday, August 12, at 2:00 p.m. at Dugdown Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. DeWayne New officiating.

Visitation will be Sunday, August 12, from 12 noon to 1:30 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
