Mr. Charles E. Broome, age 71 of Cedartown, passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. He was born on May 26, 1946 in Cedartown, Georgia. He was the son of the late Charles Harry and Catherine Morgan Broome.

Mr. Charles E. Broome is survived by his daughter, Heidi Andrews (James); son, Chuck Broome; sister, Joan Broome Rampley; and 8 grandchildren, Dustin Martin, Taylor Martin, Houston Welchel, Tyler Andrews, Colin Andrews, Greyson Andrews, Emma Perry, and Chaz Broome.

Mr. Charles E. Broome is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services for Mr. Charles E. Broome will be conducted on Monday, August 28, 2017 at three o'clock in the afternoon from the chapel Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Joel A. Smith officiating. Interment will follow at Polk Memory Gardens.

The family of Mr. Charles E. Broome will receive family and friends on Sunday, August 27, 2017 from five o'clock in the evening until seven o'clock in the evening at Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Kenny Deaton, Benjie Frazier, Tyler Andrews, Jonathan Brunelle, Jeffery Collier and Pete Ashford. The Elks Lodge members and the Georgia State Patrol troopers will serve as honorary pallbearers.
