Mr. Cecil Emory Earnest, age 77, of Tallapoosa, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, May 12, 2022. He was born on December 26, 1944 in Donalsonville, Georgia.  He was the son of the late Frank and Willie Mae Holton Earnest.

Mr. Earnest is survived by his sisters, Jean Temples (Jimmy) and Rouzelle Sanders; nephews, Jerry Temples (Teresa), David Sanders (Heather), and Joey Sanders (Pam); niece, Joy Parker (Ross); 10 great nieces and nephews; and 6 great-great- nieces and nephews.

Mr. Earnest is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William Henry Earnest and Willie Frank Earnest; sister, V. Nell Earnest; and brother-in-law, Lowell Sanders.

In keeping with Mr. Earnest's wishes he was cremated.  A memorial graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at Calvary Assembly of God Cemetery in Brinson, Georgia at eleven o'clock in the morning.
