Mrs. Cathy Elaine Conwell Puckett, age 61 of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015. She was born on May 5, 1954 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Mrs. Cathy was a long time and devoted member of The First Baptist Church of Cedartown. She was a special education Sunday School Teacher for many years. She was the chairman of the prayer ministry committee and was also the "Prayer Warrior" of The First Baptist Church. She was loved by everyone that knew her. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister and friend. Cathy loved people and life in general. She was a selfless person who had a high standard of integrity and moral values.

Mrs. Puckett is survived by her mother, Betty Jo Spann Conwell; husband, Darrell Ray Puckett; sons and daughter-in-law, Cory and Kerry Puckett and Charlie Puckett; brother, Donald Eugene Conwell, Jr. and granddaughter, Harper Khamile Puckett.

Mrs. Puckett is preceded in death by her father, Donald Eugene Conwell.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Puckett will be conducted on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at two o'clock in the afternoon at the First Baptist Church of Cedartown with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior the funeral hour. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Cathy Elaine Conwell Puckett will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.
