Ms. Catherine Blankenship Robinson, age 87, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, April 19, 2014. She was born on July 9, 1926 in Polk County, Georgia to the late Van Blankenship and Velma Marbut Blankenship.

Ms. Robinson is survived by her sons, William J. "W.J." Cole (Patty), Richard L. Robinson (Ruth), Ronnie D. Robinson (Donna), Danny R. Robinson (Debbie), and R. Dale Robinson; eleven grandchildren, thirty three great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.

Ms. Robinson is preceded in death by her parents; 1 ^st husband, William "Bill" Jessie Cole; 2 ^nd husband, Rev. J. C. Robinson; granddaughter, Jessica Robinson; grandson, Daniel Martin; great granddaughter, Karlie Robinson; daughter-in-law, Teresa Robinson; sister, Frances Blankenship; and brothers, C.V. Blankenship, Bill Blankenship, Dewey Blankenship, Bruce Blankenship, Bobby Blankenship.

The funeral service for Ms. Robinson will be conducted on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Southside Baptist Church with Rev. Joel A. Smith and Dr. James Guy officiating. Interment in Northview Cemetery will follow with Rev. Billy Vines officiating at the graveside.

The family of Ms. Robinson will receive family and friends on Monday, April 21, 2014 from six o'clock to nine o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

Richie Robinson, Jason Robinson, Johnny Robinson, Anthony Robinson, Levi Robinson, and Barry Dowda will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Cody Billings and Anthony Ray Robinson.

Flowers will be accepted, however; donations can also be made to Southside Homebound Ministries.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Ms. Catherine Blankenship Robinson.
