Mr. Carl Samuel Roberson, age 78, of Cedartown, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007. He was born on March 24, 1929 in Polk County.

Mr. Roberson was a member of Second Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Girtha Grace Mann Roberson; son, Dennis Carl Roberson and parents, Grover Samuel Roberson and Sallie Peterson Roberson.

Mr. Roberson is survived by his second wife, Dorma Louise Roberson; daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah F. Elliott, Dianne Roberson Law and DelLinda Marie Menefee; step daughter, Janet Mosley; step sons, Gary Carr, Randy Carr and Russell Carr; brother, Kenneth Grover Roberson and daughter-in-law, Lee Yi Roberson. Also surviving are 11 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 5 step grandchildren.

The funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, June 27th at 1:00p.m. in the Chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Patrick Latham and Rev. Ray Hopkins officiating. The interment service will follow in Polk Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 26th from 6:00p.m. until 9:00p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Kevin Mosley, Trent Tracy, Terry Menfee, Corey Kitts, Michael Elliott, Chris Johnson and Christopher Roberson Law.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mr. Carl Samuel Roberson.
