Mr. Carl Edward Chandler, age 78, of 1244 Rockmart Hwy. Apt. 104, Cedartown, Ga. passed away Saturday, February 4, 2006 He was born in Haralson County on Feb. 17, 1927.

Mr.Chandler was preceded in death by parents, William Romie & Maggie Addison Chandler, Daughter and Son-in-Law Thelma and Harlin Hulsey,
Sister Frances McCoy, Brother James Charles Chandler.

Surviving are Wife, Evelyn Chandler; Daughter, Mary Helen Willie; Daughters and Sons-in-Law, Norma and James Wilkes, Colline and Larry Welchel, Melissa and William Puckett; Son and Daughter-in-Law, Dennis and Linda Barber; Sons, James Barber, Larry Barber and Van Barber; Brother & Sister-in-Law William & Hazel Chandler; Sisters & Brothers-in-Law Cecile & Kenneth Beasley and Ruth and H.B. Henderson. 23 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren several Nephews and nieces also survive.

Funeral Service will be conducted Tuesday February 7, 2006 at 2:30 PM in the Chapel of Gammage Funeral Home with the Mr. Dan Lester officiating. Interment will follow in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery with Full Military Rites being conducted by American Legion Brewster- Cleveland Post # 86.

The family will receive friends Monday, February 6, 2006 from 6 - 9 PM at Gammage Funeral Home.
