Mr. C. Waymon Wages, Jr., age 52 of Cedartown, formerly of Smyrna passed away Saturday May 21, 2011.

Mr. Wages was a 1976 Graduate of Wills High School and was employed with the Georgia Power Company with over 30 years of service as Operations Team Leader. He was a Mason and a Member of Tillman United Methodist Church. He loved motorcycles and cooking.

Mr. Waymon Wages is survived by his wife, Susan Woodyard Wages of Cedartown; mother, Dorothy Wages of Smyrna; brother, Eric Wages of Smyrna; and nephews, Christopher Wages and Joseph Woodyard.

Funeral services for Mr. Wages will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 24, 2011 at the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Smyrna, Georgia. Interment will follow in the Monroe Hills Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Forsyth, Georgia at 2:00 pm.

The family will receive friends on Monday May 23, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Carmichael Funeral Home.
