Mr. Buddy Oliver Carter, age 73, of Rome, passed away on Sunday, October 31, 2021.  He was born on January 17, 1948 in Rockmart.  He was the son of the late Virgil Oliver and Jewell Marie Tabor Carter.

Mr. Carter is survived by his children, John Carter, Brandi Deems, Troy Carter, and Jennifer Carter; sisters, Connie Jones and Margaret Collins; brothers, Elmo Carter, Jarvis Carter, and Anaya Carter, and grandchildren, Justin, Miles, Maddox, Aaron, Aislinn, Madisyn, Alyssa, and Zaylea.

In keeping with Mr. Carters wishes he was cremated.  The family of Mr. Carter will have a private family memorial service at a later date.
