Bro. Daniel Marion Hudgins, Jr., 76 went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 5, 2010 at his home in Zebulon, Georgia.

A son of the late Daniel M. Hudgins, Sr. and Tressie Gladden Hudgins, he was retired from the United States Army.

Bro. Hudgins was the former pastor of Macedonia Baptist Church in Shellmound, Tennessee and Grace Baptist Church in Stevenson, Alabama.

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by brothers, Jerry Hudgins, Douglas Hudgins, and James Hudgins and a sister, Ruby Kato.

Survivors include his loving wife, Christine Anderson Hudgins; sons, Grover "Bill" Hudgins; daughters, Donna Pearson, Melodie Conner, Candace Hudgins, and Jeannie Dennis; brother, Grover Hudgins. Sixteen grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service for Bro. Daniel Hudgins, Jr. will be conducted on Wednesday, September 8th at 12:00 noon at the Tate Funeral Home, Jasper, Tennessee.

Interment will be in Chattanooga National Cemetery, Chattanooga, Tenessee.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 7th from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at Tate Funeral Home.
