Mr. Brian Ricky Mathis, age 37, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2012. He was born on September 19, 1974 in Jackson, Tennessee.

Mr. Mathis is survived by his wife, Laura Jackson Mathis; daughter, Briley Mathis; parents, Ricky & Yvonne Mathis; sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth & Chad Hinz; brother, Benjamin Mathis; father-in-law, Phil Jackson; brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Phillip & Kristine Jackson; grandfather, Watson Carter; and nieces & nephew, Kathryn Hinz, Lily Jackson, Layla Jackson & Chad Hinz.

Mr. Mathis is preceded in death by his grandmother Kathryn Carter and grandparents Murl & Lou Dean Mathis

The funeral service for Brian Ricky Mathis will be conducted on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at 4:00 in the afternoon in the chapel of Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with minister Douglas Sims officiating.

Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 17, 2012 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the funeral home.

Jimmy Crawford, Johnny Crawford, Chris Warren, Shae Stephens, T.J. Couey, and Brad Wood will serve as Pallbearers. The co-workers from Miura Manufacturing Company are named as Honorary Pallbearers.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home is handling the arrangements for Mr. Brian Ricky Mathis.
