Mrs. Brenda Jane Morton, age 59, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2007. She was born on September 18, 1947 in Polk County.

She is preceded in death by her father, Mr. Joe Howard Morton, Sr.; her daughter, Mary Teresa Lynn Posey; and her brother, Joe Howard Morton, Jr.

Mrs. Brenda Morton is survived by her mother and step father, Mrs. Mary Jane Calloway and Mr. James Calloway; daughters, Kristie Posey and Melanie Ann Pruitt; sons, Terry Joe Waters and Daniel Posey; sister, Deborah Morton Mexquite; and 7 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 30th, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, July 31st, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Danny Rhodes and Rev. James Cordell officiating.

The Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements for Mrs. Brenda Jane Morton.
