Ms. Brenda Jo Benham Dalton, age 70, of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2011. She was born on July 27, 1941 in Cherokee, Oklahoma. She was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Vernon and Velma Crabtree Benham.

Ms. Dalton is formerly of Sherman, Texas. She was a retired nurse and a member of the Cedartown church of Christ.

Ms. Dalton is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Prussia Woodward and husband, Russell; sister, Nancy Gneeve; cousins, Anita Lockwood and Mary Jo Thomas and grandchildren, Dalton Woodward and Gabrielle Woodward.

In keeping with Ms. Dalton's wishes she was cremated. A memorial service will be held Sunday, January 8, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at the Cedartown church of Christ.
