Bonnie Joann Martin, age 57, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2008 at Gadsden Alabama Regional Hospital after an extended illness. She was born January 21, 1951 in Cedartown and was a member of the 1969 graduating class of Cedartown High School.

She was preceded in death by her father, Mr. Julius K. Martin, in 1983.

Bonnie Martin is survived by her mother, Sara Delores Martin; brother and sister-in-law, James Kenneth and Belinda Martin; sister, Marilyn K. and her husband, Wesley Neil Byrd. A niece and nephew also survive.

Bonnie Martin unselfishly donated her body for medical study to the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Medicine, Anatomical Donor Program.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
