Mr. Bobby R. Switzer, age 68, of Cedartown, GA, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2012. He was born on March 28, 1943 in Williamstown, Grant County, Kentucky, to the late Melvin and Minnie Hymer Switzer. He proudly served in the United States Army and was a retired caregiver.

He is also preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Mary J. Cornish Switzer.

He is survived by daughter, Christina Garrett, Cedartown, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Russell Wayne Switzer & Vickie of Harrison Co.. KY, and Bobby Ray Switzer Jr. & Andrea of Michigan; three sisters; three brothers; five grandchildren, Christian Switzer, Alexandria Switzer, Hope Garrett, Timothy Garrett, and Bennett Myers; and a God daughter, Denise Myers.

The funeral service will be conducted on Tuesday, February 7th at 10:00 a.m. at Harrod Brothers Funeral Home in Frankfort, Kentucky with Rev. David Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Hebron Cemetery, Anderson County, Kentucky.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 6th from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m.at the Harrod Brothers Funeral Home.
