Mr. Bobby Gene Herron, age 75, lifetime native of Cedartown passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2007, peacefully after a short illness. He was of the Baptist faith.

Bobby was an accomplished musician, interested in music even in early childhood. Even though he never had professional lessons, he was able to play numerous instruments in many styles of music, with gospel being his favorite. Through the years he was a member of several musical groups.

Mr. Bobby Herron is preceded in death by his mother, Allie, and his companion of thirty-five years, Nell Davis.

He is survived by cousins, Elizabeth Couch of Seneca, SC and Harry Tracy of Watkinsville, GA, and loving friends, Russ and Ann Vann of Cedartown. Many wonderful Cedartown friends also survive.

The family will receive friends on Friday, August 17, from 10:00 –11:00 am at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The funeral service for Mr. Bobby Gene Herron will be conducted on Friday, August 17, at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.
