Mr. Bobby J. Heath, age 73, of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, December 15, 2016. He was born on November 6, 1943 in Cedartown. He was the son of the late Paul Heath and Annie Ruth Bell Heath Cole.

Mr. Heath was a member of WorldView Baptist Church and a member of the Optimist Club.

Mr. Heath is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jerome and Vanessa Heath; grandchildren, Krisha Kines (Derrick), Shaley Causby (Preston) and Madison Heath; great-grandchildren, Harper Elisa Kines and Presley Sha Causby; sisters, Betty Faye Maddox, Marvine Forrister, Joyce Turner, Vivian Preston and Shirley Landers (Jimmy) and brother, Billy Heath (Vivi).

Mr. Heath is preceded in death by his parents; step- father, Albert Cole; wife, Carolyn Annette Wesson Heath; sister, Gladys Eaves and brothers, Harvey Heath and Ralph Heath.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Bobby J. Heath will be conducted on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the Chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Barry McCullough officiating. Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mr. Heath will receive family and friends on Sunday, December 18, 2016 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Josh Davis, Brandon Heath, Glenn Wright, Chris Grimes, Coty Short, Johnny Moats, Jonathan Blackmon, Justin Williams, Tony Gravitt, Bill Wood, Buddy Privett and Lee Williams. Honorary pallbearers will be Cliff Williams, Ricky Robinson, Jerry Timms, Roland Jackson, Larry Knight and Charles Wesson.

The family has requested that flowers are to be omitted and donations can be made to the Cedartown Optimist Club, P.O. Box 808, Cedartown, GA 30125.
