Mrs. Beverly Jean Carter Green, 67, of Brunswick died Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at her residence.
Mrs. Green was a native of Camden County and a resident of Brunswick most of her life. She was retired from the Southeast Georgia Health System, Brunswick Campus.
She was a member of Bay Harbour Church of God in Brunswick.
She was preceded in death by first husband, David Carter, Sr., her father, Nephi Clark; and a sister, Pat Hodge.
Survivors include her husband, James Green of Brunswick; a daughter, Theresa Jean Clyde of Waynesville; four sons, David Carter, Jr. and wife of Lulaton, Marcus Carter of Brunswick, Wesley Carter (Songi) of Waynesville and Edward Carter (Kelly) of Brunswick; mother, Viola Clark of Poppelville; five brothers, Buddy Clark of Poppelville, Leonard Clark of Waynesville, Jimmy Clark of Poppelville, Mike Clark of Blackabear and Rex Clark of Waverly; two sisters, Louise King, of Brunswick and Sandra Box of Wayne County; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 23, at Bay Harbour Church of God with the Rev. Rickey Harris and the Rev. John Harris officiating.
Interment will follow in Arnett Family Plot in Mount Pleasant.
Pallbearers will be Timmy Arnett, Tommy Sherbet, Larry Drummond, Herman Green, Emmett Head and Wetzel Head.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today, Friday, August 22, 2008, at Bay Harbour Church of God.
