Mrs. Betty Ann McCrary Shaw Watson, age 77, of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. She was born on April 23, 1943 in Cedartown, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Forney Lamar and Arie Strickland McCrary.

Mrs. Watson is survived by her daughter, Faith Benefield (Jimmy); grandchildren,  Jim Benefield (Teila) and Jacob Benefield; and great-grandchildren, Peighton Benefield and Zaylan Voils.

Mrs. Watson is preceded in death by her parents; and son, Jerry Eugene Shaw, Jr.

The funeral arrangements for Mrs. Betty Ann McCrary Shaw Watson will be conducted on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at two o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.  Interment will follow in the Northview Cemetery.

The family of Mrs. Watson will receive family and friends on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from twelve o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at Gammage Funeral Home.

In accordance with the guidelines and recommendations set forth by the CDC, social distancing guidelines will be in place as well as the use of masks required for all services provided for Mrs. Watson.
