Mrs. Betty Joyce Turner, age 66, of Rockmart passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013.

Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband, Clinton "Clint" Wayne Turner; daughters, Christy Moore and Jennifer Winter; son, Wayne Turner; Sisters, Laura Valentine and Caroline Woodard; brother, Butch McCallister; grandchildren, Autumn Morales, Amber Head, Samantha Winter, Kayleigh Winter and Alex Winter; nieces and nephews, David Valentine, Josh Valentine, Stevie Hester, Megan Valentine and Mac Witsell; and great grandchildren, Lanie Ransom Winter.

Mrs. Turner is preceded by her parents, Augustus L. McAbee and Lottie Christine Burgess McAbee.

The memorial service for Mrs. Turner will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2013 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Southside Baptist Church. Rev. Joel A. Smith and Dr. James Guy will be officiating the service.
