Ms. Betty Taylor Glenn Hay, age 71, passed away Tuesday July 24, 2012. Betty was a pioneer for women of her generation starting one of the first mobile auto body side molding and trim businesses, "Glenn's Body Side Molding", and later "B&B Auto Trim and Vinyl Tops", servicing many of the major car dealers in the Atlanta area in the mid to late 70's.

Betty later became a close friend and colleague of Mama Wynette Mitchem (Mama's Country Showcase) working with her at each of Mama's Atlanta locations and later managing the facility when it became Nalley's Country Showcase.

Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Thomas Glenn Sr. (Dick Glenn); brothers, Fred Taylor, Oscar Taylor Jr.; and parents, Oscar Taylor Sr. and Hazel Loraine Taylor.

Betty is survived by her children, Richard Glenn, Mark Glenn Sr., LaFaye Glenn, Debbie Windolph (stepdaughter), Ricky Glenn (stepson); grandchildren, Tanya Mathews, Bryan Mathews, Mark Glenn Jr., Brandie Glenn, Nikki Glenn, Georgia Glenn; great-grandchildren, Blake Meadows, Cade Mathews, Lily McGregor, Emily McGregor; sisters, Faye Jordan, Dorris Huffstetler; brother, Dave Taylor; many nieces and nephews. Her best 'buddy' and canine companion, Zena, is also surviving.

The memorial for Betty Hay will be conducted Saturday, July 28, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home in Cedartown with the family members delivering her eulogy.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the funeral service at the Gammage Funeral Home. Betty will be laid to rest beside her late husband in the Youngs Grove Cemetery.
