Mrs. Betty June Smith Lundy, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away on Saturday, February 29, 2020.  She was born on May 29, 1936 in Aragon, Georgia.  She was the daughter of the late Leroy Smith and Eleanor Christine Lanham Smith. Betty was a longtime faithful member of the Cedartown Church of Christ.

Mrs. Lundy is survived by her beloved children, Catherine Christine Lundy Hackney, William Lee Lundy, Jr. (Catharine), Anthony Gene Lundy (Missy), Richard James Lundy (Leigh Ann), and her eight beloved grandchildren, Laura Catharine Lundy Wheale (Patrick), Lucas William Hackney, Adrienne Christine Hackney Hess (Tyler), William Wells Lundy (Brittany), Matthew Garner Lee Lundy, Spencer Gray Lundy, Anna Blythe Lundy and Grace Ann Lundy.

Mrs. Lundy is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, William Lee "Bill" Lundy, Sr., and her beloved brother, Bobby Gene Smith.

The funeral service for Mrs. Betty Lundy will be held on Tuesday, March 3 ^rd , 2020,  at four o'clock in the afternoon in the Gammage Funeral Home Chapel with Minister Ed Lee officiating.  Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive family and friends on Tuesday, March 3 ^rd , 2020 from one o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour at Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers: William Lee Lundy, Jr., Anthony Gene Lundy, Richard James Lundy, Lucas William Hackney, William Wells Lundy, Matthew Garner Lee Lundy and Spencer Gray Lundy.
