Ms. Betty Carol Shellhouse Poole McGarrity, age 67, of Leeburg, Alabama. She was born on August 31, 1948 in Blakely, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Luther Shellhouse and Mamie Carswell Shellhouse.

Ms. McGarrity is survived by her sons, Anthony Poole and Michael Poole; sister, Jenny Shellhouse, brother, Tony Shellhouse; four grandchildren, Alex Poole, Astyn Poole, Britney Self and Cody Poole; great-grandchild, Hayden Baldwin and several nieces and nephews.

Ms. McGarrity is preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Allan Shellhouse and Richard Shellhouse.

In keeping with Ms. McGarrity's wishes' she was cremated. A memorial service for Ms. Betty Carol Shellhouse Poole McGarriy will be conducted on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at three o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home. Following the memorial service, there will be a small family gathering at the funeral home.
