Ms. Betty Chandler Henderson, age 80, of Cedartown, passed away on Thursday, December 23, 2010. She was born in Carrollton, Georgia on December 31 1929.

Ms. Henderson is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Allen and Janie Carter, Jr.; sister, Barbara Bordinoski, special niece, Cheryl Land, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Ms. Henderson is preceded in death by her mother, Nova Robinson Chandler; daughter, Susan Patricia Ridgway; husband, Glen Allen Carter, Sr.; sisters, Jacqueline Chandler Smith and Mavor Carnes and brother, Edgar Chandler, Jr.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Henderson will be conducted on Friday, December 24, 2010 at one o'clock in the afternoon in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Dr. Dan Barton officiating.

Interment will follow in the Polk Memory Gardens.

The family of Ms. Henderson will receive friends on Friday, December 24, 2010 from twleve o'clock in the afternoon until the funeral hour.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers; Tim Holcomb, Mike Garner, Tim Mitchell, Tony Redding, John C. Green, Sr. and John C. Green, Jr.
