Funeral services for Betty Jean Hedgepath, 76, will be Thursday, November 18, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the K. L. Brown Funeral Home and Cremation Center Chapel with Rev. Jason Williams officiating.

Burial will be in the Jacksonville City Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home for one hour prior to services.

Mrs. Hedgepath died Monday at Jacksonville Medical Center.

She is survived by a son, Mark (Dori Hafley) Hedgepath; a sister-in-law, Adelia Curry; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Hedgepath and his wife, Anita; three grandchildren, Tiffany Jean and Morgan Nicole Hedgepath and Taylor Hafley.

Pallbearers will be Tim Bentley, Tony Bentley, Barry Glass, Chad Golden, Mike Walker and Scott Golden.

She was born and lived in Cedartown for many years, a graduate of Cedartown High School. Mrs. Hedgepath worked at Columbus Finance and First Federal Savings and Loan before moving away.

Mrs. Hedgepath enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, cooking, traveling with her friends and watching western movies.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James "Gene" Hedgepath.
