Mrs. Betty Ruth Mitchell Green, age 76, of Cedartown passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2007. She was born on April 12, 1930 in Polk County to parents, Howard Mitchell and Mamie Frady Mitchell.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Glen Carter and husband, Fred Green, Sr.; brother, Billy Mitchell.

Mrs. Betty Ruth Mitchell Green is survived by her children, Gaile Green Davis, Lynn Green, Fred Green, Jr. all of Cave Spring; Allen Carter and Susan Ridgeway; nephews, Tim Mitchell and Tony Mitchell; great nephew, Brett Mitchell; sister-in-law, Bernice Mitchell all of Cedartown. Also surviving are a number of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The graveside service will be conducted on Saturday, February 24th at 2:00p.m. at Northview Cemetery with Rev.Neal Brown, Rev. Mark Smith and Rev. Todd Padgett officiating.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 24th from 12:00 noon until 2:00p.m. at the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home.
