Ms. Betty Jane Garrett Brown, age 83, of Cedartown, passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2016. She was born on February 25, 1932 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Everett R. and Daisey Jones Garrett.

Ms. Brown is survived by her sons and daughter-in-laws, Jimmy and Belinda Brown, Terry Lee and Linda Brown and Larry and Pat Brown; sister, Carolyn Wallace; brother, Arthur Garrett; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Ms. Brown is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William "J.C" Brown; sister, Eva Garrett; brother, James Garrett and grandsons, Kevin Brown and Kenneth Brown.

The funeral arrangements for Ms. Betty Jane Garrett Brown will be conducted on Friday, January 29, 2016 at eleven o'clock in the morning in the chapel of the Gammage Funeral Home with Rev. Charlie Timms officiating. Interment will follow in the Union Grove Methodist Church Cemetery in Rock Run, Alabama.

The family of Ms. Brown will receive family and friends on Thursday, January 28, 2016 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Ricky Garrett, Barry Brown, Joshua Brown, Keith Brown, Daniel Brown and Dakota Brown. Honorary pallbearer will be Tim Jones.
