Mrs. Betty R. Simpson Camp, age 80, of Cedartown, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2008. She was born January 13, 1928 in Polk County. Mrs. Betty Camp was the daughter of the late James Love and Laura Mae Price Simpson. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Camp is preceded in death by daughter, Laura Gale Cole; son, Joseph Cole; sisters, Madelyn deGennaro, Maurene Henson, Jean Simpson; brothers, Robert Simpson, Jim Simpson, Raymond Simpson.

Family members surviving are daughters, Patsy Beecham, Kathy Watson, Tammy Wooten; sons, Samuel Cole, Scottie Cole; sister, Joyce Bruce; brother, David Simpson. Five Grandchildren and four great-Grandchildren also survive.

The funeral service for Mrs. Betty R. Camp will be conducted on Sunday, November 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of the Olin L. Gammage and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Smith officiating. Interment will follow in Northview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 29, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Gammage Funeral Home.
