Mrs. Bettie Sue Chandler Bridges, age 79 of Cedartown, passed away on Tuesday, September 20, 2016. She was born on July 2, 1937 in Polk County. She was the daughter of the late Amon W. Chandler and Ruth Hudsputh Chandler.

Mrs. Bridges was a life-long member of First Baptist Church of Cedartown and was a Cedartown Shrinette. She was employed for over 36 years by First Federal and Loan and then Regions Bank of Cedartown.

Mrs. Bridges is survived by her husband, Charles E. Bridges; daughter and son-in-law, Anita Ginn and Rob; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Kaci Bridges and grandchildren, Laura Ginn, Matt Bridges and Kayla Bridges.

A graveside service for Mrs. Bettie Sue Chandler Bridges will be conducted on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at eleven o'clock in the morning at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Wayne Benefield officiating.

The family of Mrs. Bridges will receive family and friends on Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from six o'clock in the evening until eight o'clock in the evening at the Gammage Funeral Home.

The family has respectfully requested that flowers are to be omitted and donations be made to the First Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 101 North College Street, Cedartown, GA 30125.
